University Concert

Songs, dances, fun, surprises and smiles – this is a concert at our university.

On December 10 Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University organized a holiday of student talents which presented the artistry and skills of our students, their love for a stage and a viewer.

The act “Miasnikov, Wake Up!” performed by the student of Faculty of Foreign Languages Denys Bohatykov and the student of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Denys Bilyi elicited a lot of smiles. Not just smiles but roars of laughter. Our students can create funny and homely atmosphere!

The most romantic concerted item was the performance of Artem Popov and the students of the Institute of Trade, Customer Service and Tourism. When Artem was singing Okean Elzy’s song dedicated to his girlfriend the students were picturing a loving couple onstage. It was so unusual and fascinated!

All performances were so interesting that it is difficult to choose the best ones but we would like to tell about two most extraordinary. “Lifelong Student” – performance by Ivan Lysenko (Institute of Trade, Customer Service and Tourism) and Oleh Chernysh (Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology) received a round of applause: perfect students’ acting together with interesting face-paint impressed viewers very much.

But most of all we were surprised by the lecturers who performed in the act based on everybody’s favorite film “Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession”. Central characters played by Anton Vasylovych Bader and Mykhailo Mykhailovych Chumak were very realistic. The viewers were deeply impressed by the acting technique of our favorite pedagogues and did not want they go off the stage.

After concert creative teams were awarded with diplomas. Viewers and actors were in cheerful mind for a rather long time.
