Meeting with a Judge

Students of Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College and LNU College met with a judge of Starobilsk District Courte on December 9, 2015.
The event was dedicated to the Ukrainian Law Week traditionally held in the beginning of December.
Oleksandr Vitaliiovych Foroshchuk told students about the function of judicial authority, responsibilities for administrative and penal offences, prejudicial inquiry concerning the under-age and administrative offences concerning the under-age.
The judge provided information on the latest law novations, differences in penal and criminal procedure code, protection and prosecution functions and the features of their contentiousness at court hearing.
The students asked questions regarding the age since which it is possible to resort to judicial authorities and the kinds of problems. Interesting stories from legal precedents attracted much attention.
