Results of questionnaire survey on HIV/AIDS problems released.

It should be recalled that on December 1 there was a questionnaire survey among the students to define the level of students’ awareness on this global problem.

Questionnaire results

95% of respondents are informed on the subject “What is AIDS?” and gave the complete answer on it. In addition, they explained the terms HIV and AIDS and their difference.

100% of respondents know the ways of virus transmission from one person to another.

95% are informed on individual means of protection against HIV affect.

All surveyed know that today there is no vaccine against “the plague of XX century”.

65% of surveyed know some aspects of state policy concerning HIV/AIDS questions.

The majority of surveyed persons noted that one cannot be sure in absence of infecting risk even when using individual means of protection against HIV.

Obtained results showed the LNU students not just know about such terrible disease but realize the possible risks of infection. Also students understand the importance of healthy lifestyle and following all rules of individual protection to avoid infecting.
