Coffee with a Rescuer

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the action “Coffee with a Rescuer”.

Students of our HEI, under the leadership of the head of the Student Social Service, Olena Dukhova, took part in an informal meeting “Coffee with a Rescuer”. Representatives of the university were present together with the social work service in the community of Starobilsk City Center for Social Services, Starobilsk City Council and the head of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Starobilsk City Council, Oleksii Poluliashchenko. The event took place on the basis of the State Fire and Rescue Unit No. 6 of the city of Starobilsk. The event was held by the chief inspector of the ZNS department of the Starobilsk District of the State Institution of Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the Luhansk region, Oleksii Zemlianskyi.

In an informal atmosphere, the rescuers happily communicated with the guests, demonstrated fire and rescue equipment and control room, reminded the rules of fire safety at home and on the street, the basic rules of life safety and rules of conduct when explosive objects are detected. The next block of the meeting was stories about the specifics of their work, extraordinary events in the city and opinions on the proper education of young people for their own safety and the safety of those around them.

Students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University are sincerely grateful to the rescuers for the informal meeting, new knowledge and emotions, and the constant protection they provide them. We congratulate them on the New Year holidays and wish them good health, true happiness and good mood. May their life be filled with great meetings, unforgettable memories and sincere people!
