Results of international activities

On the eve of Christmas and New Years, the Department of Economics, Marketing and Entrepreneurship summed up the results of its international activities.

This was determined not only by a good universal human tradition, but also by the conditions of the Ukrainian-Polish project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Agency for Academic Exchange of Poland (2020-2021): both in Ukraine and in Poland, government agencies should submit and protect reports on research work “National Business Cultures of Poland and Ukraine: Improving the Scientific and Practical Foundations of Cooperation in European and World Markets” (state registration number 0120U103807), which the department proposed in 2019 and which was the only winner in the social and humanitarian sphere. The department presented and successfully defended such reports at the meetings of the government commissions of the two countries.

A necessary prerequisite for the defense was the implementation of a foreign business trip to the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz – co-executors of research work from the Polish side. Following the results of a business trip to Poland, the head of the department, professor V. Chebotarov and the Associate Professor Ye. Chebotarov presented the final version of the monograph “Współczesne trendy biznesu międzynarodowego” (“Modern Trends in International Business”) to the publishing house of Lodz University, which was prepared based on the results of the conference (the monograph was accepted for publication ). Also, the Academic Council of the Faculty of Management of the University of Lodz, based on the overall results of research and development, was presented with the monograph “Narodowe kultury biznesowe Polski i Ukrainy: czynnik doskonalenia of cultures korporacyjnych i integracji” approved by the conditions of the Ukrainian-Polish project and received a recommendation for publication at the expense of the European Union in 2022.

In a combined offline-online mode with the involvement of scientists from the Institute of Industrial Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and scientists from another leading higher education institution in Poland – “Silesian Polytechnic” on 18. 12. 2021, the VII Ukrainian-Polish Seminar was held. This time, its topic was the discussion of the problems and prospects for the entry of Ukrainian scientists into the educational and scientific space of the European Union.

A new direction of the department’s international activities in 2021 was the preparation for the passage of external academic mobility on the basis of the University of Lodz for higher education applicants of the EP “Economics” and “Marketing” of LTSNU (this requires the solution of the relevant bureaucratic European Union issues).

A visit of Polish colleagues to Ukraine is planned for 2022: friendly mutually beneficial cooperation continues.
