The Regional Stages of the Competitions

Regional stages of competitions were conducted in Sievierodonetsk. Students and master’s students of LNU took the top positions.
Regional stages of two international competitions were held in Sievierodonetsk comprehensive school No. 14 on December 5.
The first one is Petro Yatsyk Ukrainian Language International Competition founded with the purpose of establishing state status of Ukrainian language, enhancing its prestige among the youth and promoting the respect to culture and traditions of Ukrainian people. The foreigners who know and speak Ukrainian can participate in the competition as well as the Ukrainians.
According to the results, students and master’s students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took the prize places.
Humanitarian direction:
- I place – Dariia Botsman (master’s student, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”)
- II place – Yuliia Dubova (IV year, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”)
- III place – Viktoriia Onufriichuk (master’s student, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”)
Non-humanitarian direction:
- II place – Oleksandr Holovatiuk (V year, specialty “Publishing and Editing”)
The second one is International Taras Shevchenko Language and Literary Contest for Pupils and Students aimed at arising the feeling of proud for native people and love for native land; developing the readiness to make kindness for Motherland, rich, sovereign and inherent in world development.

- I place – Viktoriia Onufriichuk (master’s student, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”)
- II place – Yuliia Dubova (IV year, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”)
- III place – Daria Botsman (master’s student, specialty “Ukrainian Language and Literature”)
Non-humanitarian direction:
- I place – Oleksandr Holovatiuk (V year, specialty “Publishing and Editing”).
