Master class from a stakeholder

The higher education applicants and scientific and pedagogical staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in a master class from a stakeholder.

On December 24, 2021 Ruslan Hnylobokov, head of the production sector for cases of violation of customs regulations of the Luhansk customs, held a master class “Proceedings on Cases of Violation of Customs Regulations”. The event was held within the framework of the completion of the development of the selective educational component “Combating smuggling and violations of customs regulations”. Applicants of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, specialty 076, “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities” of the educational program “Commodity Science and Expertise in Customs”, ER ICSTT and specialty 051 “Economics”, the educational program  “Economics” of the ER IEB and scientific and pedagogical workers of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise, ER ICSTT, joined the participation in the master class. 

During the master class, Ruslan Hnylobokov paid great attention to examples from practical experience, solving situational problems and discussion issues with higher education applicants.

As a result of participation in the master class, students improved their skills in: determining the regulatory and procedural grounds for the application of measures of administrative and criminal liability in violation of legislation in the field of state customs; qualification, detection and analysis of administrative and criminal offenses in the field of customs; carrying out procedural actions in proceedings on administrative and criminal offenses that fall within the competence of the State Customs Service of Ukraine; procedural documentation of events and signs of administrative and criminal offenses in the field of state customs.

Involving higher education applicants and research and teaching staff of the university to participate in similar master classes from external stakeholders is a necessary component of improving the quality of higher education, sharing best practices, updating the content of EP based on current practices and priorities of external stakeholders. Taking into account the needs of stakeholders, labor market trends and the acquisition of competencies necessary for the further success of graduates.
