Participation in the program implemented by Education USA Ukraine

Oksana Husakova, a lecturer at the Department of Oriental Languages, became a participant in the Academy of Leadership for Internationalization program implemented by Education USA Ukraine.

In total, 20 participants were selected from higher education institutions in Ukraine, which together with American partners will implement joint projects for virtual exchange between students from Ukraine and the United States.

Within the framework of the Academy, Ukrainian participants together with their American colleagues will develop and implement virtual exchange modules for their students. EducationUSA together with the SUNY COIL center will provide training that will provide the necessary knowledge and skills to create virtual modules and their integration into the teaching process of your subject. COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) – Model of Joint International Learning Online involves participation in an online workshop before the course “COIL Foundation”, “COIL Foundation Course” in online format, COIL Design Workshop. The result of participation in the “Academy of Leadership for Internationalization” will be the practical implementation of the acquired knowledge and skills in the development of a virtual exchange module with an American teacher-partner.
