Table Tennis Tournament

The Deputy Director of the ER IPES took part in the rating table tennis tournament “Bronze Racket”.

The next round of the open rating table tennis tournament “Bronze Racket” took place in the city of Severodonetsk. The competition was attended by players from Rubizhne, Kreminna, Severodonetsk. Pavlo Hordienko, Deputy Director of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports, also took part in the competition.

There was a fierce struggle at each game table, because only the first place gave the right to participate in the final part of the Top-12 competition, which will be held in January 2022. During the tournament Pavlo suffered one defeat and reached the final from the second place, and already in the final part he won all the victories, took the first place and is heading to the decisive competition of the league “Bronze Racket”.

The second place was taken by Danylo Poborchii (Severodonetsk), the third place was taken by Andrii Skrebtsov (Rubizhne).

The participants of the competition expressed their gratitude to the Chairman of the Table Tennis Federation Ihor Butkov for sponsorship, the director of the Children’s and Youth Sports School No.1 Eduard Chebotarov, the head coach of the  Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 1 Oleksandr Minin, who is a student of the the ER IPES and the coach Yevhen Kozhemiakin, a last year graduate of the specialty “Physical Culture and Sports” excellent conditions, a high level of organization and competition.
