Self-government report at the ER IEB

On December 21, a self-government report was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.
The student self-government of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business is a powerful structure of the institute’s activities. Over the years, the traditions of student life have been formed, which are successfully continued today.
The self-government report on the work done in the first semester began with a congratulatory speech by the deputy director of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business for Social and Humanitarian Work, Oleh Chernysh. He congratulated all those present and noted the important role of self-government in the educational process.
The head of the student administration Yulia Onishchenko summed up the working results of the self-government and highlighted the main problems and tasks for the future. Further reports were continued by the heads of various committees.
Yaroslava Vynnyk, head of the Youth Business Club of LTSNU, spoke about the club’s activities during the semester. So, at the beginning of the academic year, the Club Council was elected and the meeting plan was approved. Both student youth and public figures and entrepreneurs were involved in the work.
The head of the mass cultural committee Yelyzaveta Bezpala also summed up certain results. During the semester, the students of the institute took part in various activities at both the institute and university level.
Maryna Serhienko, head of the Press Center of the ER IEB, spoke about the specifics of creating the institute’s media space. For example, a subdivision page in Tik-Tok was recently created and the videos show a positive dynamics of views, and one of the posts received more than 90,000 views.
The achievements of the social committee were presented by Mykhailo Reshetov. During the semester, student youth actively participated in the work of the university’s social service and became the initiators of many charity events.
The artistic committee was represented by Valeria Herasymova. She summed up the activities and noted the need to increase the activity of student youth.
Ilia Lysennyi, chairman of the sports committee, announced achievements and challenges in the sports field. Quarantine restrictions have become an obstacle in organizing events, which makes it necessary to hold events online.
The dormitory council chairman Dmytro Puhach noted the main problems that bother students living in dormitories.
At the end of the event, the students got to know the rating of social and humanitarian work and recognized the activities of the self-government as satisfactory.
