Holidays were celebrated at the ER IPMIT

On December 16, a double celebration took place at the ER IPMIT – the student initiation ceremony and the anniversary of the institute.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech of Hennadii Mohylnyi, Director of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies. He congratulated all those present on the anniversary of the institute. For 14 years the ER IPMIT has been accepting creative, gifted and purposeful youth into the ranks of its students. And today’s freshmen are no exception.

At the end of his speech, Hennadii Mohylnyi presented certificates and gifts from the directorate and student self-government.
The head of the ITS Department Mykola Semyonov addressed the audience. He congratulated two teams that participated in the regional programming competition, and awarded the team members with certificates and prizes. The awards were given to education applicants who actively participated in the university talent competition.

All those present were invited to watch a video on the history of the institute, and then take part in a quiz with the help of Kahoot. The first three participants who provided the correct answers received sweet prizes. The education applicants of the 1-IPZ group demonstrated a humorous scene from the life of programmers.

At the end of the meeting, the freshmen took the student oath and sang the university anthem together with everyone present.

The Directorate once again congratulates the new members of the friendly family of the ER IPMIT and wishes them success in their studies, inspiration and good health.
