Online Open Day

Online Open Day was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. 

On the eve of the winter holidays, our higher education institution held the Online Open Day so that applicants had the opportunity to finally decide on their future specialty and university during the New Year holidays. Traditionally, applicants met with the administration of the HEI, the executive secretary of the admission committee, deans, directors and teachers of structural subdivisions, as well as the head of student self-government.

At the beginning of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko acquainted those present with the advantages of studying at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and noted that the conditions for admission to the HEI in 2022 have already been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The executive secretary of the admission committee, Alina Beshkinska, informed those present about the 2022 admission campaign, the conditions of admission, and also answered all the questions received in the chat during the broadcast in Zoom. She dwelled on the deadlines for submitting applications and documents, holding creative tests and competitions, commented on the common mistakes of applicants when submitting documents and registering an electronic cabinet.

In our higher education institution, participants are registered in the department of preparatory courses in such subjects as Ukrainian language and literature, history of Ukraine, mathematics, biology, English and geography.

The head of the student self-government Oleksandr Mironenko noted that our university is becoming a second family for every student. He spoke about the opportunities for personal and career development, scientific potential, comfortable conditions in dormitories, a busy student life, as well as holding traditional events, for example, the League of Laughter, Student’s Day, Vyshyvanka Day, etc.

Natalia Motunova, director of the Professional College of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, thoroughly told about admission to colleges on the basis of the 9th and 11th grade.
