Career guidance work in the Starobilsk District

The Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology conducted career guidance work in the Starobilsk District.

On December 16, 2021, the deputy director of the ER IPP and the laboratory assistant of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” conducted career guidance work among the applicants of the Chmyrivsky and Limanivsky lyceums of the Starobilsk district. The main task of career guidance work was to inform potential applicants about the possibilities of obtaining higher education at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the features and benefits of studying at our university. Graduates of the Chmyrivsky and Lymanivsky lyceums learned about the conditions of admission and the list of subjects of the EIE, which must be taken for admission to the specialty of the ER IPP; the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process (in particular, the terms of study, internships, organization of leisure and everyday life of higher education applicants, etc.); opportunities for internships in other educational institutions, including foreign ones; the demand for specialists in the labor market and the prospects for employment after graduation. Pupils and teachers watched the presentation “Admission Campaign – 2022 at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, the film “One Day in the Life of the Institute” about the educational, scientific, social and humanitarian activities of the Institute, University, popularization of education in it.

Such career guidance meetings are especially useful for applicants who have not yet decided on the choice of their future profession or who have doubts about which field of activity to connect their lives with.
