Meeting with the OSCE Mission to Ukraine

The Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​hosted an online meeting with an official representative of the OSCE Mission in Ukraine.

The meeting was organized for the teaching staff of the faculty, as well as for students of 3-4 courses of all available specialties. The meeting lasted with the participation of Acting Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​Iryna Myhovych, touched upon the development of international organizations in Ukraine, the peculiarities of their work with young people, providing informational support and advice.

The speaker from the OSCE at the meeting was the officer of the monitoring mission, who also performs the function of coordinating the communication direction in the Luhansk region (Press and Public information Unit focal point), Mr. Marko Došljak. Marco shared his almost 6 years’ experience and life in Ukraine, emphasizing the interdisciplinarity of his existing experience, which includes training for a doctorate in medicine, and work in small and medium business (MSME), and participation in political events. The expertise of the speaker includes the direction of coordination and managerial support of projects funded by the European Union. Prior to his OSCE career, he visited Ukraine several times from 2004 to 2015 as an international observer in the Ukrainian presidential election.

During the meeting, educators were given a presentation on the activities of the OSCE mission in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The participants of the event had questions to the speaker, to which he was happy to answer. The working language of the meeting was English, which gave students the opportunity to improve their speaking skills in this language.

Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​represented by Acting Dean of the faculty, present at the meeting of heads of departments, teachers and students expresses his gratitude to Mr. Marco for informative and surprisingly interesting communication and looks forward to further cooperation.
