The Starobilsk branch of the Regional Center for Vocational Education hosted the Week of Law.

In the modern world, the issue of human rights occupies one of the central places. The week of law today already has the status of a state, has the character of a national legal tradition and includes a number of events, actions, competitions.

All-Ukrainian Week of Law in the Starobilsk branch of the Regional Center for Vocational Education of LTSNU began by decorating the building with newspapers and stands. A meeting was organized for education applicants with the head of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of the Prevention Department of the Starobilsk Police Division of the Main Department of National Police in the Luhansk region, who introduced the main issues, told about the most common examples delinquency among young people in order to prevent them.

Lacking enough life experience, adolescents sometimes find themselves on the verge of committing a crime, and then only knowledge of the laws can save a person from a fatal mistake.

For a broader understanding of the children’s rights, a training session “Protection of the Children’s Rights” was held, where theoretical and practical material was aimed at helping to understand the deep content and essence of children’s rights, to get to know the rules and mechanisms for protecting the children’s rights.

Every person, regardless of age, has personal rights, but all the time there are those who violate them and when this happens, we cannot always ask for help and in such cases rely only on our personal capabilities and we do not always have enough knowledge and skills how to behave in situations where our rights are neglected, that is, in situations of violence. It was with the aim of preventing the emergence of violence in the family and among peers that a meeting of the discussion club “We are against violence!”

During the week, the groups spent hours of communication on legal topics, legal breaks – solving crosswords.

Do we know all our rights? Do we always make full use of them? There is a special day on the calendar to reflect on these questions. On December 10, World Human Rights Day, the only lesson “Human Rights” was held on the occasion of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, where the winners of the campaign flyers / business cards competition “I have the right!” Or “You have the rights!”

The work on the formation of legal relations continues further. It helps to expand the legal knowledge of students, forms the ability to correlate the norms of morality and rights in life, to apply legal knowledge in everyday life.
