Training programs for teachers and lecturers

Within the EU Project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building” the development of curricula and methodological materials has been completed.

In accordance with the implementation plan of the EU Project “Intensification of Influence of Teachers of Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”, the activity “5.2.5. Development of teaching materials and content of educational documents” has been completed. The result of the execution was the publication of a collection in 2 parts “Curriculum for pedagogical and scientific pedagogical workers, education applicants, the population”, more than 1000 pages.

The first part of the collection includes curricula of educational components (academic disciplines) for professional training / advanced training / non-formal education of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers, applicants for education, the population, each of which contains a full range of educational and methodological support (sylabus, preview, diagnostic case, theoretical block (lectures, materials for self-study, videos), practical block, guidelines for organizing independent work, tasks for current and final control, glossary, list of recommended literature, electronic library, annotated webliography of scientific, popular science sources).

The topic of the curriculum corresponds to modern trends in the development of education in Ukraine and is aimed at increasing the level of professional competence of teachers: “Pedagogical Providing of Innovative Teaching Technologies”, “Academic Virtue as a Tool for Ensuring the Quality of Higher Education”, “Soft Skills of a Modern Specialist”, “Documentation Support Management of Educational Activities”, “Technology for issuing grant applications”, “Technology of design thinking” ,”Formation of critical thinking of a modern specialist”, “Psychology of traumatic situations and psychological assistance”, “Organization of teamwork of specialists in an inclusive institution”. Навчальні програми, частина І.

The second part of the collection presents educational programs of training sessions for pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical workers, applicants for education, the population to ensure the work of six educational centers created within the framework of the EU Project: the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation, the Center for Career Development, the Laboratory for the Development of Creative Skills, the Center development of leadership qualities, Information Center, Inclusive Center.

The topics of the training sessions are aimed at resolving conflicts peacefully and developing mediation skills, stabilizing the psychoemotional state, preventing professional burnout (supervision), documenting the management of educational activities, developing artistic, aesthetic and engineering technical potential of the individual, developing critical and design thinking qualities, inclusive competence, culture of academic virtue, personal information security as effective means of forming key competencies of an individual for life in the 21st century, peacekeeping processes and peacebuilding on the territory of the Luhansk region, which was subjected to external aggression. Навчальні програми, частина ІІ.

The collection of curricula is intended for the organization of formal and non-formal education of pedagogical (scientific-pedagogical) workers, applicants for education. Having mastered the educational programs of the Project and gaining new knowledge, skills, teachers / instructors will continue to implement them in the educational process with pupils, students, parents, the population in those territorial communities where their educational institutions are located. And thus, the peacekeeping mission of teachers and peacekeeping processes will spread throughout the territory of the Luhansk region.
