Cooperation Memorandum was signed

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University signed a cooperation memorandum with the Luhansk Regional State Administration and the State Institution “Luhansk State Medical University”.
Today, December 03, 2021, in a solemn atmosphere, State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, represented by the Rector Olena Karaman, Luhansk Regional State Administration, represented by the chairman of the Regional State Administration – head of the Regional Military-Civil Administration Serhii Haidai, State institution “Luhansk State Medical University”, represented by the Rector Serhii Smirnov, signed a cooperation memorandum. The main goal of this Memorandum is to consolidate efforts aimed at creating conditions for high-quality provision of rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities, children at risk, popularization and implementation in the field of evidence-based rehabilitation methods.
“Rehabilitation of persons with disabilities is a complex problem that can be solved exclusively by an interdisciplinary team of multidisciplinary specialists – doctors, psychologists, special educators and psychologists, and social workers. We are confident that this Memorandum will allow combining human, material and technical and other resources, the vast experience of government bodies, rehabilitation institutions, higher education institutions to provide quality services to these people in order to meet both basic needs and personal self-realization,” Olena Leonidivna said.
The Parties agreed to combine their efforts, capabilities and resources, in particular, for holding joint events (meetings, seminars, round tables, conferences, forums, trainings), surveys, sociological research, determining preferences and trends in the development of rehabilitation services and forms of their provision; facilitating internships for students on the basis of existing institutions and medical institutions, which provide rehabilitation services.
The Memorandum entered into force from the moment of its signing and will be valid for one year.
