The meeting was held in an interactive form, students shared their own experience of crossing the uncontrolled territory, asked questions about the possibilities of building a career in international organizations. But the discussion on the question “Is it necessary to change the old concept of a man-applicant and a woman-keeper of the hearth?” The audience came to the conclusion that yes, of course, it is necessary! If such gender norms promote violence, harm someone, and the majority of the population disagrees, then they need to be changed.
The participants in the meeting expressed a desire to continue such meetings, to learn more about gender issues in the world and in Ukraine, in order to understand the essence of gender conflicts and further spread leading ideas and fight violence in Ukraine.
