Meeting with stakeholders at the Faculty of Foreign Languages

At the Faculty of Foreign Languages continue meetings with stakeholders of educational programs.

A regular meeting with the stakeholders of the educational program “Language and Literature (Russian, English)” of the first (bachelor’s) educational level of higher education in the field of knowledge 01 Education / Pedagogy, specialty 014 “Secondary education”, in subject specialties 014.02 “Secondary education. Language and Literature (Russian)”, 014.02 “Secondary education. Language and literature (English)” was held remotely on 27 November 2021.

The meeting was attended by applicants for higher education who studied under this program and also by reviewers and employers from the People’s Republic of China who work with graduates of the educational program and teach similar educational program (Lanzhou Polytechnic University, Gansu Political Science and Law Institute, Lanzhou City University).

 The purpose of the event was to attract stakeholders to an efficient and constructive discussion to improve the educational and professional program.

The meeting turned out to be interesting and useful for improvement of the content and quality of training of applicants for higher education of the educational and professional program “Language and Literature (Russian, English)” of the first (bachelor’s) educational level of higher education.

During the discussion the participants emphasized the high potential of the educational program and practical orientation in language learning in accordance with field of knowledge. The participants of the meeting spoke about contribution of the educational program to the high-quality training of future teacher of languages and literature with encyclopaedic knowledge.

The necessity to extend knowledge of modern information technologies and abilities to apply it in practice was also mentioned.

The information gathered during the discussion (reviews, participants’ suggestions) will be the foundation for the content and quality improvement of professional training of applicants for higher education of the first and second level of the educational and professional program.
