University-wide career guidance work

Employees of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University conduct an active university-wide career guidance work.

The choice of a profession is one of the main life choices that a person makes at a young age. It matters both for the person himself and for society. The correct choice determines moral satisfaction, positive self-esteem, high labor productivity, and product quality. It is the point at which the interests of the individual and society converge, the combination of personal and common interests.

On November 24, 2021, the head of the Marketing Department Iryna Bakhmet, executive secretary of the Admission Committee Alina Beshkynska and the head of the “Donbas – Ukraineˮ, “Crimea – Ukraine” Svitlana Kharkivska center made a career guidance trip to educational institutions regarding attracting to study at the State University “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” for 2022-2023 in the Schastynska city CAA.

During the meeting, the representatives acquainted the students with our structural and separate subdivisions, the geography of their location and the available specialties. They informed in detail about the peculiarities of the admission campaign, admission through the educational centers “Donbas – Ukraine”, “Crimea – Ukraine”, invited to the Online Open Day and preparatory courses .

The meetings were lively and energetic. Applicants asked a huge number of questions about the necessary subjects of the EIE, the competitive score, living conditions in dormitories, the number of budget places, the necessary documents and student leisure.

Thanks to such an informative meeting, schoolchildren seriously thought about their educational future, which will become the key to becoming a real specialist in demand on the labor market.

We hope that the active career guidance work of our university will help each applicant to decide on a future specialty and higher education institution. After all, choosing a profession, a person, first of all, determines his/her place in life. Further successful self-affirmation and individuality, the possibility of realizing creative potential depend on the choice of a future profession.
