Virtual dialogue

The Pedagogy Department held a virtual dialogue for future specialists in the field of physical therapy and occupational therapy.

The virtual dialogue “Pedagogical Mosaic: the Experience of Teachers of the World” was organized for the second-year higher education applicants majoring in 227 “Physical Therapy. Ergotherapyˮ, the ER IPES. The event was moderated by Inna Kurlischuk, Associate Professor of the Pedagogy Department. The purpose of the dialogue is to help students understand the importance of pedagogical knowledge for the successful implementation of their future professional tasks, to form communication skills, to develop global, critical thinking skills, and to stimulate self-education.

The participants of the event analyzed the process of formation of education as a complex social phenomenon, the peculiarities of the content of the main foreign and domestic pedagogical concepts. The higher education applicants presented the results of their research projects.

Today the training of highly qualified, competitive, integrated into the European and world scientific and educational space of physical therapy specialists and occupational therapists as representatives of the “Human-Human” profession type is impossible outside the block of pedagogical disciplines. A future specialist must skillfully solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems that require constant updating and integration of professional knowledge, research and innovation; in particular, to apply basic teaching methods for the successful solution of pedagogical problems in the implementation of individual programs of physical therapy, ergotherapy in a clinical and non-clinical environment.

The virtual dialogue ended with an active discussion of the best world and national educational traditions, the peculiarities of their implementation in the modern education system of Ukraine.
