Meeting with the presenter of UA: Donbas TV channel

A meeting with a practicing TV presenter was held at the Institute of Culture and Arts. 

On November 17, education applicants majoring in “Audiovisual Art and Production” together with the adviser Alona Tereshchenko met with the presenter of the TV channel “UA: Donbas” Diana Subbotina.

The date of the meeting was not chosen by chance: on November 16, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Radio, Television and Communications Workers, and November 17 is the Student’s Day. Diana Subbotina is not only the presenter of the TV channel, but also a graduate of our university, specializing in “Audiovisual Art and Production”.

During the meeting, our guest remembered how her student years passed, shared her employment experience with education applicants, talked about some of the nuances of conducting live broadcasts. Diana also spoke about the UA: Donbas TV channel itself, which is part of the Public media group, about its observance of journalistic standards.

The information that the education applicants received at the meeting will be needed by everyone who dreams of working in the field of media. Thanks to our guest for sharing her experience. We hope that meetings with our alumni will become a good tradition.
