Participation in the International Conference

Scientists of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the International Conference.

On November 12, 2021, the Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “QUALITY AND CONTROL OF GOODS IN CONDITIONS OF COVID PANDEMIC” was held at the University of Economics – Varna, Republic of Bulgaria. Thematic areas of the conference were as follows:

  • Quality of goods – formation, management, identification and counterfeiting.
  • Control of goods.
  • Certification of products and services
  • Online trading – status, development, problems.
  • Consumer protection – legal, organizational aspects, good practices.
  • Relationship business education.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the ER ICSTT NatalIa Omelchenko, NatalIa Bykadorova and Anna Brailko joined the participation in the conference. Natalia Bykadorova, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the ER ICSTT addressed the organizers and participants of the conference with a welcoming speech.

Natalya Omelchenko and Anna Brailko made a presentation on “Protection from Counterfeiting and Falsification of Goods on the Ukrainian Market”.

During the report, attention was focused on commodity expertise and its combination with expertise in the field of intellectual property as an effective tool to counter the appearance of counterfeit and falsified goods on the domestic market of Ukraine.

The training of commodity experts is carried out according to the EP “Commodity Science and Expertise in Customs” at the ER ICSTT, the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The participation of scientific and pedagogical workers in international scientific and practical conferences of the EU countries is a necessary component of advanced training, strengthening ties between science and practice, sharing best practices, updating the content of EP based on international scientific achievements, modern practices and priorities of external stakeholders, clarifying programmatic learning outcomes, taking into account the needs of stakeholders, labor market trends.
