Results of writing the radio dictation
12.11.2021
The results of writing the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity have been summed up at the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications.
Traditionally, employees and higher education applicants of the Faculty join in writing the Radio Dictation of National Unity, thereby demonstrating their involvement in the expansion of the information space of the Ukrainian language, love for the language and the need to communicate with them, and the joy that a person experiences when joining something collective that is of great importance to society or an individual. Radio Dictation of National Unity is a kind of all-Ukrainian cleanup, becoming a participant in which you become rich in heart and soul.
The text of the work, which was called “Following the Memory”, which told about childhood memories and the autumn park, was read by the direct author – Ukrainian poet, prose writer, translator and essayist Yurii Andrukhovych. According to him, this was the beginning of a future book – a novel or a collection of stories, which will now definitely be completed. The dictation includes the first 199 words of the work. The author began to work on the book a month ago and has repeatedly changed what he wrote – “it was the 25th (or 35th) version”.
“Our teachers always attract us to such events, and I am sure that this is a very good reason to support the Ukrainian language and show that we are patriots and love our native language,” Yulia Budantseva, an higher education applicant of the first (bachelor’s) level, says.
With distance learning in mind, the event for education applicants and educators was hosted on the Microsoft Teams platform. Dean’s office staff took part offline in the university library in compliance with all quarantine requirements.
This year, more than 50 participants from the Faculty took part in the action of writing the radio dictation. 10 participants of the action handed over to check the work.
