Week of Ukrainian Writing and Language
9.11.2021
The Institute of Culture and Arts celebrated the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language.
November at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts began with a week of Ukrainian Writing and Language. On the pages of the institute on Instagram and Facebook, preparations were made every day for writing the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity, its history, spelling rules and the origin of some words.
The higher education applicants, and not only, were offered the game “How is it right?” On Instagram, through which they could remember, and maybe learn, the new spelling rules, which were approved in 2019. A spelling explanation was posted after each question. Puzzles were also solved.
The head of the student administration Viktoria Shcherbina, 4th year student majoring in “Musical Art”, wrote a poem for the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, which you can view at the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoIys8Bi2dI&t=17s. The first letter of each line is a letter of the Ukrainian alphabet in the same order.
Today, November 9, 2021, teachers and higher education applicants at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts joined the writing of the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity, which was written and dictated by Yurii Andrukhovych.
The writing of the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation is already an established tradition for the institute, and even quarantine restrictions did not interfere. Because the team understands that each such event is important in that it draws the attention of society to the Ukrainian language and unites the nation.
