Feminism from the higher education applicant of the FUPSC

The higher education applicant of the FUPSC ran a blog café on the theme of feminism.

On October 28, a blog café on the theme of feminism was held at the STB city hub with the support of the Efficient Community. The event was hosted by Valeria Pechatnova, an ambassador of the project “World in Digital Time”, a higher education applicant of the first (bachelor’s) level of the Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications. NGO “CSR “Effective Community” is the regional coordinator of this project in the Luhansk region.

Participants in the blog cafe learned what feminist movements are struggling with, about the importance of activism on the Internet, the importance of emphasizing women’s rights, about the problems of misogyny on social networks and what can be done for feminism today. The youth also prepared posters on the theme of women’s struggle for equality.

The project “World in Digital Time” is being implemented with the support of the Institute for International Cultural Relations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
