Participation in the online training

The teaching staff and students of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise took part in a practical online training.
In order to improve the educational programs, “Commodity Science and Commercial Activity”, as well as “Commodity Science and Expertise in Customs” specialty 076, “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activity”, scientific and pedagogical workers and applicants for education of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism took part in practical online training.
Within the framework of the initiative, a series of anti-crisis measures for potential and existing business entities of the Luhansk region to establish and revitalize work in the context of quarantine measures, implemented within the framework of the United Nations Peace Restoration and Development Program and with the financial support of the European Union, was held online on October 28, 2021 – training on the topic: “Requirements for enterprises related to the production, sale, manufacture of food products”.
The project was initiated by the Luhansk Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Agency for Regional Development of the Luhansk Region.
During the online event, the participants got acquainted with the issues of legal regulation of the handling of food products, examined the legislation on food safety, and discussed directly the requirements for market operators. Also, the participants presented the basic principles of implementing a food safety management system based on the principles of HACCP at the enterprise. A separate section was devoted to answering specific questions of business entities.
The speaker of the event Iryna Plotnikova, head of the Department of Certification, Conformity Assessment of Products, Services and Management Systems of SE “Luhanskstandartmetrologiya”, auditor for certification of food safety management systems, presented interesting, rich, relevant information for market operators, focusing on the main aspects of the implementation of the management system food safety.
The event was attended by representatives of agricultural formations, enterprises producing bakery products, dairy products, butter, beer, distributors of food products, applicants who in the future plan to devote their labor activity to the production and sale of food products.
The training was held in a business-like constructive manner.
