Blogging training

The higher education applicants of the FUPSC took part in a two-day training on blogging.

On October 23, STB city hub hosted the first stage of the training on the topic “Blogging”, organized by the NGO “Center for Common Development “Effective Community”. The training is carried out within the framework of the “Program for Empowerment to Restore Concord for Community Leaders in Ukraine“ Peace in a Digital Time”, which is being implemented by the Human Rights Foundation with the support of the Institute for External Cultural Relations through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. “Effective Community” is the regional coordinator of the “World in Digital Time” project in Luhansk region.

The video blogger, screenwriter and director Yurii Kochkarov told the audience about the peculiarities of blogging. In addition to the theoretical part, there was also practical work; the participants trained to shoot video outside the territory of the hub.

On October 24, the second, final stage of the training took place. This day, the participants fully devoted to writing scripts and filming videos on relevant topics. Practical work was carried out under the guidance of the trainer of the event, Yurii Kachkarov. “I believe that this training has helped us improve our blogging skills and will help us in our professional activities,” Ilia Tochenyi, an applicant for higher education of the first (bachelor’s) level, told about the training.

Thanks to the organizers for the interesting training, we hope that our higher education applicants will need this knowledge in the future.
