A meeting with the master’s students took place at the Department of Ukrainian Language.
On October 22, 2021, at the Department of Ukrainian Language, a meeting with the master’s students took place, at which the main subject of discussion was the issues of academic integrity. Applicants for the second (master’s) level of higher education of the specialties “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature”, “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)”, “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (Russian)” had the opportunity to communicate with the supervisors of the master’s theses.
The meeting was held online on the Microsoft Teams platform. The head of the Department, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Oksana Kleshova gave the freshmen recommendations for writing master’s theses, as well as practical advice on practical training. The Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor Alla Nikitina dwelled in detail on the choice of topics for master’s work, reminded of the need to take into account the methodological aspect of the research and fulfill the requirements of academic integrity. The Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Margaryta Kravchenko told the masters about the Regulations on the Academic Integrity of the Participants of the Educational Process of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, the procedure for plagiarism checking of scientific and qualifying works of applicants for education, the procedure for establishing liability of applicants for higher education for violation of academic integrity and suggested for those present to take the course of the School of Academic Integrity at the Library of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Halyna Barylova drew attention to the correctness of the bibliographic description of the list of used literature in the master’s work.
