International Scientific and Practical Conference

The Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences.
The Department of Political Science and Law of the Educational and Research Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences held the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Scientific and Practical Judgments on the De-occupation of Donbas and the Conduct of Annexed Crimea in the Context of Russian Aggression”. So, according to the results of the event, on October 21, a round table was held, in which scientists from all over Ukraine took part.
The organizing committee consisted of Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor Svitlana Vovk (Chairman), Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Anton Bader (Co-Chair) and Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Liudmyla Novoskoltseva (Co-Chair).
At the beginning of the event, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Leonid Vakhovskyi addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
Speakers from our university were Doctor of Political Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of the ER Institute of History, International Relations and Socio-Political Sciences Anton Bader with a report “The logic of Russian aggression and the prospects for the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories”; Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Political Science and Jurisprudence Svitlana Vovk with a report “De-occupation of Donbas: Ukrainian and Russian Visions”; Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Director of the ER IPP Olena Karaman with a report “Experience in the Implementation of the EU Project, Intensification of Influence of Teachers in the Luhansk Region on the Processes of Reconciliation and Peace-Building”; Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of History of Ukraine Oleksandr Naboka with a report: “Ukrainian context of the history of Luhansk region of the 17th – 18th centuries”; Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, Head of the Department of Public Service and Management Yevhen Khrykov with a report “Ways of solving the problem of returning Crimea and the separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to Ukraine”.
Colleagues from the HEIs from all over the country took an active part in the round table. Among the speakers were the Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region Ivan Mezinov; Natalia Romaniuk, PhD in Geography, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies of the Faculty of International Relations, Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University; Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University Anatolii Kruglashov; Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University Vira Burdiak, as well as Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic” Mykola Buchin.
