Second round of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship

The team “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” won the second double round of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship.

The second pairing round of the Ukrainian Basketball Championship, the First League of the season 2021-2022 took place.

On October 16 and 17, our team “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” hosted the guest team of BC Kramatorsk in the city of Rubizhne. Two playing days ended with a score of 2: 0 in favor of our team. You can watch the video of the game on the YouTube channel.

It should be noted that the format of the First League competitions is based on the geographical principle and the first stage is completely held in groups, which are divided by the geography of the teams. Our team is part of the Slobozhansky group, which will host 12 games. Today, the team “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” occupies the second place in the group. The overall winner and prize-winners of the First League will be determined only after the leaders from each group advance and play the playoffs (from the 1/8 finals).

We are waiting for the third round in the city of Kharkiv. The meeting will take place with BC “Juniorˮ on October 30 and 31.
