Career guidance activities of the Department

The Department of Production Technologies and Vocational Education has carried out active career guidance work.

During September and the first half of October 2021, the head of the Department of Production Technologies and Vocational Education Viktor Burdun visited nine institutions of vocational education of the Luhansk region for the purpose of vocational guidance. During the meetings with applicants for education, the rules of admission on the basis of a junior specialist, the specifics of training in the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” were agreed.

From the administration of the institutions of vocational education, which Viktor Burdun visited for the first time, consent was obtained to conclude agreements on cooperation between the Department and these educational institutions.

During his visit to the educational institutions, Viktor Burdun discussed with the administration and teachers the educational and professional programs of bachelor’s and master’s levels of specialties “Professional Education. Transport”, “Professional Education. Agricultural Production, Processing of Agricultural Products and Food Technologies” and “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technologies”. All comments expressed by external stakeholders will be considered in the working groups and, if necessary, taken into account in the future.
