List of HEIs by degree of risk

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University showed an average degree of risk in the list of HEIs of Ukraine in terms of the degree of risk from the introduction of economic activities in the field of higher education.

The State Service of Education Quality of Ukraine has published a list of HEIs according to the degree of risk from the introduction of economic activities in the field of higher education. This list includes 307 higher education institutions from all over the country. Their distribution took place in accordance with the criteria by which the degree of risk from the implementation of economic activities in the field of higher education is assessed and the frequency of implementation of planned measures of state control is determined.

Among them were: the number of higher education applicants over the past three years; the number of scientific and pedagogical workers employed at the main place of work; the state of publication on the official website of the higher educational institution of documents and information specified by legislation; the presence of foreign higher educational applicants, etc. The assignment of a subject to a high, medium or insignificant degree of risk was carried out taking into account the sum of points, on the following scale: from 41 to 100 points – high degree of risk; from 21 to 40 points – medium risk; from 0 to 20 points – an insignificant degree of risk.

According to the results of the assessment, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took the 254th place and scored 25.0 points, which is the average indicator in the mentioned list. We draw your attention to the fact that the ranking is built in a top-down version and HEIs with an insignificant risk indicator are ranked from 288 to 307.

Our university took the place that is as close as possible to the HEI with an insignificant risk indicator, which is evidence that Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a transparent business entity that confidently holds on to the educational field of Ukraine.
