Happy Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine Day!

I sincerely congratulate everyone on the triune holiday – the Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine Day, the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks and the bright holiday of the Protection of the Holy Virgin.

The holiday of courage and dedication, chivalry and nobility is traditionally celebrated on October 14. It is truly nationwide, sprinkled with blood and sanctified by faith. This day is significant, because we honor the memory of the glorious cohort of millions of heroes who died at different times for the conciliarity and independence of Ukraine and express our gratitude to the current defenders who defend the borders of our native state.

Dear defenders and defendresses of Ukraine, we sincerely thank you for protecting our peace and comfort, giving our higher educational institution the opportunity to bring up faithful descendants on Ukrainian soil. You have proved worthily that you are worthy heirs of the Ukrainian Cossacks.

On this truly Holy Day, I wish everyone good health, fortitude, courage, conquering unprecedented peaks, fulfilling desires, achieving goals and increasing good deeds for the benefit of the native state. May the Holy Virgin take all our fighters under her protection, so that each warrior will return unharmed to his family.
