High results at the World Championship

A student showed good results at the World Weightlifting Championship.

On October 05-12, 2021 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) the U-17 World Weightlifting Championship among boys and girls took place.

October 08, 2021 Mark Lievanzov (Master of Sports of Ukraine), a first-year student of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University (Master of Sports of Ukraine) competed in the weight category up to 73 kg, where he took the 5th place in the snatch (121 kg), received the III place in the clean and jerk (158 kg) and in the combined event took the IV place with the result of 279 kg.

Congratulations to our athlete and coaches Konstiantyn and Maria Selivanovs on victories. We wish you health, inspiration, successful performances at competitions and conquest of the sports Olympus!
