STOP Plagiarism Project

Within the framework of the STOP Plagiarism project, a presentation of academic mobility programs for students, graduate students and teachers “USA-Ukraine: learning opportunities” was held by the Ambassador of Education USA Ukraine, a teacher of Oriental languages ​​Oksana Gusakova.

Participants learned about the conditions and requirements of the FLEX, UGRAD, SUSI and Fulbright programs, as well as learned about the differences between admission to higher education institutions in the United States and Ukraine.

EducationUSA is a network of the US Department of State, consisting of more than 435 information and counseling centers for international students in more than 175 countries.The network promotes higher education in the United States to students around the world by offering accurate, complete, and up-to-date information on study opportunities at accredited higher education institutions in the United States. EducationUSA centers are located in US embassies and consulates, Fulbright commissions, binational centers and non-governmental organizations.Every year, EducationUSA advisors respond to millions of inquiries from international students. Counselors offer a wide range of individual and virtual services to students and their families based on Your 5 Steps to U.S. Study – a guide to the process of admission to an American university.Anyone can use the resources of the center free of charge and sign up for a consultation to learn about:

  • the process of admission to US colleges and universities
  • requirements for standardized tests
  • US education funding (grants and scholarships for study and research)
  • the process of obtaining a student visa
  • preparing to leave for the United States

The STOP Plagiarism project is implemented by the Window on America Center, the NGO Active Community, and Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University with the financial support of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
