Congratulations to the graduate Artur Proidakov on winning the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2021.

Congratulations to Artur Proidakov, a graduate of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications, on winning the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2021.

Artur Proidakov, who teaches the Ukrainian language and literature, became the best teacher of Ukraine at the award ceremony “Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2021”, held on October 2.

The Global Teacher Prize is the world’s annual Nobel Prize for teachers founded by Arab entrepreneur and philanthropist Sunny Varkey in 2014.

Under his mentorship, schoolchildren pass the External Testing for 190+ points, after the first year at the university they find work and fall in love with modern Ukrainian literature.

“I am sure that teachers will influence the fact that qualitative and positive changes will take place in our state,” Artur Proidakov said at the award ceremony.

The dream of a teacher who himself comes from Luhansk region is to build a cultural bridge between people from the West and the East of Ukraine. He is convinced that thanks to the erasure of the barriers between the Ukrainians, it will be easier to resist the information war.
