Meeting of the Media Club of the FUPSC

A regular meeting of the Youth Scientific and Professional Media Club of the FUPSC took place.

On October 6, 2021, a regular meeting of the Youth Scientific and Professional Media Club was held, initiated by the student teaching staff of the Department of Journalism and Publishing.

Within the framework of the event, an online meeting was held with the editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian Internet publication “Media Detector” Otar Dovzhenko, organized on the platform “ZOOM”. An experienced media manager told the students about the personal approach to cooperation between an editor and a journalist, revealed the secrets of creating high-quality content using various self-editing techniques, and gave a number of practical recommendations to novice journalists.

“News is like a glass of crystal water, after drinking which, the reader must satisfy the informational message,” Otar Dovzhenko justly noted, analyzing the specifics of creating news genres; touched upon the problem of emotional burnout of journalists working with operational information and noted effective methods of overcoming it.

Now the work of the Youth Scientific and Professional Media Club continues, going beyond the faculty. The chairman of the Media Club from students Oleksandr Cherepenia (4th year student majoring in Journalism) created a bright logo of the club, actively establishes contacts with new hero-coaches for further productive activities of the community; the MC Press Center has organizational and information functions that are effectively implemented through the social networks Facebook and Instagram.
