Yesterday LNU students-psychologists attended trainings and learned about new methods of art-therapy.

The event was initiated by the Head of Student Social Service Sector Olena Hennadiivna Dorohavtseva who invited trainers-psychologists, art-therapists, organizers of the festival “Nipata” Oleh Perepelytsia and Oleh Ivanov to the university.

The trainers told about modern tendencies in psychology and main directions of its development, mentioned its important problems.

Also they told about possible ways for psychologists to make money and about possible employment that is especially important for the final-year students. The first-year students had a small guide to profession in uncommon way – coaches held informal socializing and described all positive and negative sides of psychologist work.

Art-therapists paid much attention to self-development of future psychologists and noted that students should always improve themselves.

After introduction Oleh Perepelytsia and Oleh Ivanov organized psychological games and taught the participants how to use this method. Most of all, students liked the work with metaphorical cards that is an innovative method in psychology.

“I enjoyed the training. I feel that all I heard and saw motivates me for new achievements. We are going to continue cooperation with the trainers and would like to create own similar projects”, – Oleksii Shalnev, the forth-year student of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology shared his impressions.
