Excursion to the Youth Media Hub

The students majoring in “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technologies” visited the Youth Media Hub.

On September 27, 2021, the head of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education of the ER ICSTT Viktor Burdun organized an excursion for students majoring in “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technologies” to the Youth Media Hub “FREEDOMHUB” in the city of Lysychansk.

The excursion was conducted by the head of the Media Hub, the 4th year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technologies” Eduard Horbunov. He said that the Youth Media Hub “FREEDOMHUB” provides an opportunity for the implementation of ideas, communication, creativity. I drew attention to the recreation area, where everyone can comfortably spend time, meet with friends, relax, plunge into the world of cinema or favorite TV show, have fun playing board games. Also he demonstrated a coworking area with modern equipment, a plotter and a comfortable, cozy workplace. In this zone, you can concentrate and work as fruitfully as possible.

There was demonstrated a kids zone where children can have fun playing various games, learn how to create sand animation and invent fairy tales, communicate, meet fairy-tale characters who will develop their abilities through games. He also said that in the Hub you can become a participant in various events, become both a speaker and a listener of trainings and meetings, try yourself as an organizer of an event or action, learn how to create and implement projects useful for the city and youth, communicate with interesting and successful people, learn about the basics of doing business, tell everyone that you are a person and you are unique, and much more!

Getting to know the Media Hub allowed future teachers to see where and how it is possible to organize and conduct various extracurricular activities, implement joint projects, etc.

After the excursion, Viktor Burdun had the opportunity to talk with higher education applicants, who entered the specialty “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technologies” this year, tell them about the features of training, introduce them to the work of the distance learning site.

We hope that higher education applicants who attended the excursion will become active members of the large family of the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education and good teachers of labor training and technologies in the future.
