Results of the action “Coins for Сhildren”

The Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business summed up the results of the action “Coins for Сhildren”.

The “Coins for Children” campaign was held by the National Bank of Ukraine and the Tabletochki Charitable Foundation. As part of the action, there was a collection of coins with a face value of 25 kopecks, which went out of circulation almost a year ago. The main goal was to help children with cancer.

The Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business, as well as teachers and students from many university structural subdivisions, joined the action.

The initiator of the action at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was Anna Bairachna, chairman of the Council of Advisers of the ER IEB, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs.

The idea was supported by the directorate and representatives of the institute’s self-government. Within a month, everyone was collecting coins. They also attracted local entrepreneurs and activists to the action, in particular Oleksandra Didusova and the studio “Decortime”, Oleksandr Titarenko and representatives of the NGO Joint Development Center “Active Community”.

On September 29, the funds were transferred to the Starobilsk branch of Oschadbank and transferred to the account of the Charitable Foundation.
