Teachers and students of the Department of Commodity Research, Trade Entrepreneurship and Goods Expertise joined the webinar “Technical Regulation of Industrial Products: Analysis of the Requirements of Technical Regulations and Assessment of Responsibility”.

The speaker of the webinar, Valerii Perepelytsia, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that after the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union, the EU legislative requirements for many types of industrial products have already become, and for others, they will soon become the requirements of the Ukrainian market. The speaker also noted that when exporting products to the EU, as well as when selling them in Ukraine, the manufacturer is responsible and must prove the compliance of his products with safety requirements, in other words, technical requirements.

Participation in the webinar helped applicants understand the basics of the process of confirming the safety of industrial products when selling such products in Ukraine and exporting them to the European Union, as well as figure out how to find the technical requirements of the regulation for products and which conformity assessment modules need to be applied.
