Health Day at the ER ICSTT

Health Day was held at the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism.

Traditionally, at the beginning of autumn, the ER ICSTT hosts the Health Day event. The first-fourth year students took part in it. 

At the beginning of the holiday, the deputy director of the ER ICSTT for social and humanitarian work Mykhailo Chumak addressed the education applicants. He noted that the Health Day is an opportunity for freshmen to learn about the traditions of the institute, as well as to establish stronger and more friendly relations with senior students. 

The event took place on the territory of the city reserve football field. There, students had the opportunity not only to demonstrate physical fitness, but also their culinary skills. Thus, education applicants traditionally took part in the culinary competition “Recipes of Ukrainian Cuisine”. The jury of the competition included the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev and the Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization Volodymyr Moroz.

The education applicants from each academic group presented traditional Ukrainian dishes to the honorary jury. It is worth noting that education applicants approached this competition rather creatively and surprised the jury with their creativity in the design of dishes. All participants of the competition received sweet prizes, for which the administration of the ER ICSTT expresses sincere gratitude to the Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of the University Volodymyr Moroz.

Also, there was a delicious kulesh, which was prepared according to a secret recipe, which is traditionally passed down from the older generation of the ER ICSTT to the younger one at this event.

During the event, everyone took part in relay races, fun games, competitions, which were organized by the Chairman of the Sports Club Petro Yaroshenko.

At the end of the holiday, a joint photo was taken, which through the years will remind all participants of the event about the fun and carefree student years.

The Health Day, as always, was fun, noisy, tasty and positive. Teachers and education applicants of the ER ICSTT received a charge of positive emotions for the entire academic year.
