The Best Student of LTSNU 2021
25.9.2021
The best student was identified at the university.
According to the results of the annual traditional student competition, the honorary title “The Best Student of LTSNUˮ in 2021 was awarded to Anastasia Horban, an applicant for the II (master’s) level of higher education of the specialty “Secondary Education. Ukrainian Language and Literature. Language and Literature (English)” Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications.
In 2016, a student entered our higher educational institution. To the question, “Why did I choose this particular specialty?” The girl replies: “The teaching profession is a priority in my family. As a child, my favorite was a game of school. I always say that a real teacher should love children and their subject, and I adore Ukrainian and English, I like to communicate with children and pass on my knowledge to them”.
From the first year, Anastasia has been actively involved in scientific work. She is a participant in 12 All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences and the winner of 15 international, All-Ukrainian, regional competitions (Kyiv, Poltava, Chernivtsi, Nizhyn, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Starobilsk). “I will say frankly that scientific activity is difficult for me. I remember how difficult the first article about Taras Shevchenko was for me. I wrote day and night, rewrote many times, but I was convinced that science requires not only effort, but also interest. The main thing is that the topic you are working on is interesting for you, then you will be capable of great discoveries,” the student sincerely shared her thoughts during the conversation.
An open, diligent, responsible, capable and disciplined applicant confidently strides towards her goal. According to her, she plans to devote herself to teaching her favorite subjects and passing on knowledge to future generations. Anastasia does not plan to stop there and continues to be interested in modern Ukrainian literature, to research current problems of Ukrainian and foreign literary criticism, literature of her native land, to be fond of folklore and write her own poems and prose.
Congratulations to the student on receiving a well-deserved title. We wish he inspiration, new victories and striving for self-improvement. We are proud of our students!
