Final of the Ukrainian Streetball League 3×3

The final of the Ukrainian Streetball League 3×3 took place recently.

Basketball players of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University not only took part in the basketball tournament, but also attended a landmark event – the opening of an urban park at VDNKh in Kyiv. The opening ceremony was held with the participation of the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Chairman of the Office of President Andrii Yermak and his Deputy Kyrylo Tymoshenko, President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, famous Ukrainian athlete and Hero of Ukraine Serhii Bubka, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Chernyshov and other representatives of the Government.

The team “LTSNU” competed in the men’s category, where at first our guys passed the qualification and got two victories and one defeat. Subsequently, they advanced to the super final, where they were able to reach 1/4. Congratulations to our basketball players and coach on such a result.

Streetball in Kyiv left a lot of impressions, a weighty experience and a pleasant memory of the warm summer and all the qualifying stages of the USL, which took place throughout the country. Thanks to the USL 3×3 and all the organizers for the bright moments of our sports life.

The team is sincerely grateful to the Acting Rector Vitalii Kurylo, the Primary Trade Union Organization represented by Volodymyr Moroz, the chairman of the Sports Club Petro Yaroshenko, the chief mechanic Yurii Sheliakin and all those who are not indifferent for their help in organizing trips to different parts of our country.
