Students Day in Poltava

Luhansk youth celebrated Students Day in Poltava and organized matriculation.
The matriculation of the first-year students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was conducted on the eve of the International Students Day at Poltava University of Economy and Business. The first-year students of two subdivisions – the Institute of Culture and Arts and Faculty of Foreign Languages – were in the center of the event.
Despite the difficult conditions of evacuation, our students are always optimistic and positive. That is why they have brought the traditions of native Alma Mater to Poltava.
Students created interesting concert program on the base of famous book “Evenings on a Farm Near Dikanka”. Before Vakula and the Evil One found the scroll with the oath and anthem of native university, they had to go through many countries. World countries were represented by the performances of the first-year students of different specialities of the Institute of Culture and Arts and Faculty of Foreign Languages: passion Spain, mysterious China, bright Ukraine, funny France, Latin America… The students were magnificent!
The representatives of Poltava University of Economy and Business took part in the event as well. For example, the post-graduate student of PUEB Oleksandr Kysyl acted a part of Vakula. Spectators were very impressed.

At the end, the students were congratulated with kind words, wishes of inspiration and creative achievements by the Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts Ivan Mykhailovych Karpenko. This was a real matriculation.
At this moment everyone felt that Luhank students always have hope and belief in dreams, in spite of all life difficulties.
