City tour

A student of the ER ICSTT conducted a sightseeing tour for the freshmen of the Institute of Economics and Business.

On September 16, 2021, a representative of the guides team at the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business Yaroslav Vozniak, 3rd-year students majoring in Tourism, conducted a sightseeing tour in the city of Starobilsk for freshmen of the Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business.
The purpose of the excursion was to familiarize the freshmen with the cultural attractions of modern and historical Starobilsk. For an hour, Yaroslav Vozniak introduced the audience to the iconic sights of the city, professionally combining historical details with up-to-date information.
Starobilsk is a city with more than three hundred years of history, the fate of which has had many different events. Special attention is drawn to the objects around which the history, culture and originality of Starobilsk was created.

The sightseeing tour took place in the center of the city and was accompanied by wonderful photos, which showed views of the streets of the city from the period of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The first-year students were able to see in the pictures the fashionable houses of Starobilsk merchants and landowners, gymnasiums, the merchant Skliarov’s stalls, the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Mother of God and other places that hide many fascinating, incredible stories and help to see Starobilsk in a completely different light.
The excursion left the freshmen with a sincere sense of respect for the city, in which they made their responsible choice and entered Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
