Online Open Day was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
The academic year 2021-2022 has boldly started, and the preparations for the new admission campaign began. The university actively conducts career guidance trips to educational institutions to inform future applicants about entering the university. Along with this, applicants are also introduced to the information using online means.
Today, for the first time this academic year, the Online Open Day was held using the Zoom platform. Traditionally, those present had the opportunity to communicate with the administration, the executive secretary of the admission committee, the head of the educational centers Donbas-Ukraine and Crimea-Ukraine, the chairman of student self-government, as well as deans and teachers of structural subdivisions.
The meeting was started by the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko, where he noted that the purpose of the meeting is to orient future applicants with the choice of HEI and specialty. At the beginning of the conversation, the executive secretary of the admission committee, Alina Beshkinska, noted that the entrance campaign continues, and then she told some of the features of the personal introduction of each of the participants. The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev provided detailed information on the material and technical support of the university and living conditions in the dormitories. Svitlana Kharkivska, head of the Donbas-Ukraine and Crimea-Ukraine centers, informed the applicants about the simplified admission procedure. The chairman of the student self-government Oleksandr Mironenko tried to interest applicants in a rich student life.
