Online meeting with master’s students

An online meeting with master’s students was held at the Design Department.

On September 15, the teaching staff of the Design Department, the ER ICSTT, met with 1st year master’s students using the Microsoft Teams online platform.

Iryna Prodan, Head of the Design Department, introduced the teachers of the Department: Professor Viacheslav Borisov, Professor Volodymyr Kardashov, Associate Professor Svitlana Borisova and told about the organization of the educational process. During the meeting, the website of the Design Department was clearly demonstrated, which contains general information about the research activities of teachers, regulatory and educational support, the announcement of department events and information for students and applicants.

The master’s students were provided with information about the EP “Graphic Design”, the list of compulsory educational components and syllabuses for each of them.

In order to improve the quality of the organization of the educational process, a preliminary survey was conducted, in which the master’s students were asked to provide information on the expected learning outcome and the disciplines that they wanted to further study. The project team took into account the wishes of the applicants and pledged to fulfill them during the entire training period.

The teaching staff informed the master’s students about the need to choose selective disciplines, annotations and syllabuses of which are posted on the Moodle remote platform. They can make their choice by filling out a Google form, which contains a list of the selected educational components.

The main means of communication between master’s students, teachers and student self-government is the created chat in Viber, the website of the Design Department, Facebook and Instagram pages.

The teaching staff of the Design Department thanked those present and announced offline meetings next week.
