Participation in a seminar

From September 18-21, the 3rd year student Polina Shekhavtsova, specialty 014 Secondary education.

Language and Literature (Spanish, English) took part in the unifying seminar “Innovation and youth leadership as a driver for the next thirty years”, where the workshop “30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence – the word is given to youth”, team building “Youth – the driver of the future”, workshop with the coach of the project “Higher Political School”. The workshops also discussed such topics as: “Youth leadership in Ukraine”, “what is a startup”, how to make a pocket device to create an antiseptic from water and silver. In addition, the student had the opportunity to visit the observatory UTR-2 (Ukrainian T-shaped radio telescope of the 2nd modification), the world’s largest radio telescope of decameter waves.

       

The last final seminar took place on September 10-12, where the student received a certificate of successful completion of the German program Sur-Place 2020/2021, the Konrad Alenauer Foundation for students of Eastern Ukrainian universities. Polina had the opportunity to visit the historical and political tour of the Mezhyhirya National Park, the former private residence of former President Viktor Yanukovych, after which there was an active discussion on the topic: “Ukraine on the way to Europe. Sociopolitical transformations in Ukraine since 2014.” The training “Modeling the work of a politician in the framework of a city council simulation” and “Anti-Corruption Walks Kyiv together” turned out to be very interactive and informative.
